Switchglass Radiation Shielding Glass changes from opaque to completely transparent at the flick of a switch.

Our X-ray Radiation Shielding Glass at Switchglass can be specified to any size or shape, from small circular or rectangular vision panels in doors, to large observation windows in lead-lined plasterboard or lead chevron block walls.

It can be produced with either:

  • 1.6Pb for applications of up to 15kg, or
  • 2.2Pb for applications of 20kg to 25kg.

All our products meet Australian Standards 1288 and conform with most international certification requirements.

Each panel of Switchable Radiation Shielding Glass is manufactured in-house by our experienced craftsmen to ensure consistent quality.

Maximum Panel Size: 1100mm x 2400mm

Standard Panel Thickness: 11mm up to 39mm

Can be fully customised to incorporate acoustic interlayers and/or structural makeups
